In Life and in Death, We Belong to the Lord
In your time of sorrow, we are here—for comfort, for prayer, and for hope in the Resurrection.

A Sacred Commendation Rooted in Faith
Losing someone you love is never easy. But as Catholics, we do not grieve as those without hope.
At St. Francis Xavier Parish, we walk with you as you entrust your loved one to the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.
The funeral liturgy is not simply a memorial—it is an act of worship. It proclaims Christ crucified and risen, and it entrusts the soul of the departed into God’s hands. In the Mass, we commend the dead to God and receive the comfort and strength of the Eucharist.
We are honored to guide and support you in planning this sacred celebration.
What You Can Expect
When you contact the funeral home, they will reach out to our parish directly to begin arrangements. Once the funeral date is scheduled, a member of our pastoral staff will:

Help you choose readings and music for the funeral Mass

Meet with your family to offer comfort and walk you through the planning

Coordinate liturgical ministers (priest, deacon, musicians, servers)

Offer the option of a funeral luncheon (schedule permitting) in our Xavier Room

Hope in the Resurrection
“I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.”
— John 11:25
As a parish rooted in the Eucharist, we believe that death is not the end.
Because Christ conquered sin and death, we hold fast to the promise of eternal life. In every funeral Mass, we pray not only for peace, but for resurrection.
Let us grieve together—but not without hope.
