Pack food to feed a hungry child

January 30, 2026

On Friday, April 11, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church is coming together for a powerful day of faith in action — and we invite you to be part of it.

In partnership with Cross Catholic Outreach, our parish will host a large-scale food packing event with a bold goal: to pack 60,000 nutritious meals for children and families facing hunger. These meals will be distributed to Third World countries including Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala, while 10% will remain right here in Medina County to support local hunger relief efforts.

Each meal costs just 33 cents — a small amount that makes a life-changing difference for a hungry child.

Volunteers Needed

We are inviting individuals, families, students, parishioners, and community members to roll up their sleeves and help pack meals. The event is fast-paced, hands-on, and incredibly rewarding. No experience is necessary — just a willingness to serve. It’s a meaningful way to live out our call to love our neighbor and make a tangible impact in just a few hours.

Sponsors Needed

We are also seeking station sponsors to help make this event possible. A $1,500 sponsorship supports one of 14 food packing stations and includes recognition on event banners as well as announcements before, during, and after the event.

Sponsorships play a critical role in covering the cost of the meals and ensuring the success of the day.

Sponsors are encouraged to bring employees, coworkers, and family members to volunteer together. This event offers a unique opportunity for team-building while serving a mission that truly matters.

Be Part of Something Bigger

Whether you volunteer your time, sponsor a station, or do both, your participation helps bring nourishment, hope, and dignity to children near and far. Together, we can make a difference — one meal at a time.

👉 Volunteer or sponsor today and help us pack 60,000 meals on April 11.

Thank you for being part of this important mission of compassion and service at St. Francis Xavier.
