ST. FRANCIS XAVIER ADMISSIONS PROCESS
1. Preparing to Apply
Before beginning the application process, we encourage all prospective families to:
- Complete the Inquiry Form to learn more about our school and we will get back to you soon.
- Schedule a personal tour at your convenience. Explore our programs, meet our dedicated teachers, the Director of Admissions, and our School Principal, and enjoy a guided tour of our campus.
- After visiting our school, sign up for a student shadow day and an opportunity for assessments : Students entering grades 1-8 must complete a math and reading assessment as part of the application process. We also request state test scores and recent report cards. Email Mrs. Linsey Schepis, Director of Admissions and Development at lschepis@sfxmedina.org to set this up or send information. Also, our Kindergarten Assessment is scheduled for all students on Friday, April 11. Link coming soon.

2. Steps to Begin the Online Application Process
- Create an Account
- Visit our admissions portal and create an account.
- Upon account creation, you will receive an email with a verification link.
- Verify Your Email Address
- Click the verification link sent to your email to confirm your account.
- Log In and Start a New Application
- After verifying your email, log in to your account and create a new student application for your child.
- You will have the flexibility to log in and out of your account to access and complete the application at your convenience.
- Submit the Application Fee
- A non-refundable registration fee of $175 must be submitted with each application.
- Meet with Pastor, Fr. Tony Sejba
- For new parents with students entering our K – 8 program, set up a meeting with our pastor, Fr. Tony Sejba. A link will be shared with you to sign up for a date/time.

3. After Acceptance Process
- Complete the admissions packet for students in P – 8 – (Items to be completed prior the first day of school)
- For parents with students in grades K – 8, apply for Edchoice Expansion Scholarship and Angel Scholarship by June 1. Learn more here. To learn more from the Ohio Department of Education in regards to our EdChoice Expansion Scholarship and other information, click here.
- Double check to make sure you are receiving all school communication to keep up to date.
- We will assign you a mentor family to help you transition into our school program.
- Visit our Used Uniform Sale in the summer. Date to be determined. This information will be published in our parish bulletin or call our school office in June. Our school uniforms can be purchased by Schoolbelles. Learn more here.
