2025 – 2026 School Year
As we prepare enrollment and re-enrollment processes for the 2025 – 2026 school year, we believe that the education your child receives at St. Francis Xavier is second to none and that it provides all students with their best opportunity to learn and grow, academically and spiritually, in the Catholic tradition that nourishes the whole person as a son or daughter of God. We believe in our faculty and staff and the extraordinary product they deliver. Thank you for the opportunity to accompany your children on their journey of faith, as they discover their gifts and develop as unique and unrepeatable individuals destined to change the world.
We do encourage all of our school families with students from Grades K – 8 to complete the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship new request or renewal form along with the Angel Scholarship form. These forms can be found on our school website, or call the school office for further information. Here is an EdChoice calculator to figure out your estimated scholarship.

Please note there is an increase in tuition in the following grades:
Grade 5 – Chromebook Charge – $300
Grade 6 – Camp Nuhop Charge – $200
We have incorporated these charges into tuition since scholarships are limited to covering tuition costs and cannot be applied to fees.

All tuition payments are due by the end of the current school year.
REGISTRATION FEES:
Non – refundable early bird registration fee: $175.00 per child (P – 8)
Any non – refundable payment made after April 1: $200.00 (For current St. Francis Xavier Families)
Scholarships

EdChoice Expansion Scholarship Opportunity – To further support our school families and those accepted to our school, we encourage all families to take advantage of the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship offered by the state of Ohio. This scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to students (K – 8), enabling them to access the excellent educational opportunities available at our school. This process can only begin if students are accepted into our school program. Begin the process here:
- EDCHOICE EXPANSION INCOME VERIFICATION FORM: For all first-time applicants and only those accepted to our school, it is required to provide income verification. To fulfill this requirement, please submit the completed form and supporting documents to the state to their online portal. To facilitate the process, all members are required to create an account with OH|ID in order to access and complete the verification form. You can easily and quickly complete the online submission by following this link. Once your account has been set up, you will have access to the income verification form. (This process needs to be completed online only.) After you have created your account, login tp OH|ID using the Open My Apps button on the Portal Help page. After you login, under Web Systems, click Application Request. Change the Application to Income Verification in the dropdown box and click submit*. After a moment your screen should reload with access to the Income Verification tile.
*If the dropdown box under Membership Requested is blank or does not let you move forward, first request Scholarship under Application and then request Income Verification.
- EDCHOICE EXPANSION REQUEST FORM: (New applicants) Please be sure to complete this form for each child, accompanied by copies of their birth certificates and a utility bill (electric, gas, water, sewer, cable/internet – issued within the last 90 days). The utility bill must display both the service and mailing address, matching the name of the parent/guardian. These all need to be submitted to our school office.
- RENEWAL PROCESS: To access the renewal form, click on the link. The renewal form is due to the school office by April 1 along with a recent utility bill that shows both the mailing and service address. We have found that Columbia Gas and Medina County Sanitary Engineers bills show both.
- CURRENT FAMILY ADDING KINDERGARTEN STUDENT: Complete this form and include your child’s birth certificate and an utility bill showing matching service and mailing addresses.
- After Acceptance through email or mail, please return the signed acceptance form to our school office. You will be sent a Power of Attorney paper to sign and return to our school office.

Angel Scholarship Opportunity – Additional financial assistance is also available through the Angel Scholarship. We also encourage ALL of our school families (K – Grade 8) to take advantage of this scholarship offered by donations made by our parish and school families. This scholarship provides additional financial aid assistance for families in need. If you are a recipient of the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship, you need to complete the Angel Scholarship application. If you are NOT an EdChoice Expansion scholarship recipient, you need to complete the FACTS form. FACTS FORM is DUE ON April 1

Fund a Dream
Deadline: March 25, 2025
Description: Fund A Dream (FAD) is a special tuition assistance scholarship program crafted to support Catholic education. Through this initiative, donors are paired with deserving students. Each student is granted a $2,500 scholarship.
Who can receive Fund a Dream Tuition Assistance? FAD is open to students in grades K – 12 who demonstrate financial need and fulfill the specified criteria for assistance.
How is each school involved? Every school designates a specific individual as the point of contact. This liaison acts as the primary connection between the school administration and families interested in applying for FAD. Our school liaison is Mrs. Lori Hrnchar and she can be reached at lhrnchar@sfxmedina.org.
What information and steps are required to apply for a Fund A Dream Tuition Assistance?
- Go online to www.catholiccommunity.org/FAD to access the application portal.
- If you have children at different schools, you must complete an application for each school.
- Enter the application portal and complete the required information.
- Your school liaison will then review your application to notify the Fund A Dream office if you are eligible for a FAD scholarship.
- If you are eligible for FAD, your application will be reviewed by the Fund a Dream office and you will be notified via email of your application status.
What information is necessary to apply for a Fund A Dream Scholarship? Your family needs to gather necessary information to complete the Fund A Dream application by providing the following details:
- Confirmed enrollment for the upcoming school year
- Submit documentation for income verification, showcasing the family’s financial situation
- School Verification Process:
- It’s imperative to note that schools have a responsibility to authenticate the enrollment status and assess the financial need of all applicants. This steps ensures fairness and accuracy in the Tuition Assistance allocation process.
What are the responsibilities of the FAD student and school to share with the participating donor? For successful participation in the FAD program, both students and school have specific obligations:
- Fund A Dream recipients must provide certain basic information such as name, grade, and other essential information to the respective donor.
- Student progress communication throughout the academic year; the school initiate communication regarding the student’s progress. This allows the donor to understand the impact of the contribution and stay informed about the student’s educational journey.
- As part of this commitment, each school will extend an invitation to donors to attend an all-school mass during Catholic School Week to meet the student. This event promotes unity, gratitude, and a sense of community among donor and the student.
- Continuation of Funding: It’s essential to understand that while the Fund A Dream program offers invaluable support, continued assistance for a student in subsequent years is not guaranteed. Recipients’ and their families should remain proactive in exploring and securing other financial avenues for the long-term educational funding.
- By adhering to these guidelines and fostering a collaborative environment, both students and schools can optimize the benefits of the Fund A Dream tuition Assistance initiate and ensure its sustained success.
