Parish Life at St. Francis Xavier
A place to worship, grow, serve, and belong
What is parish life like at St. Francis Xavier?
It’s vibrant. It’s prayerful. It’s real.
You’ll find a faithful and welcoming Catholic community rooted in the Eucharist and devoted to living the Gospel with joy. Whether you’re returning to church after some time away, just moved to the area, or are a lifelong parishioner, we want you to know: there is a place for you here.
Worship & the Sacraments
Everything flows from the Eucharist. Our parish life is centered around the celebration of the Mass, where we encounter Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament.
We Offer

Daily and weekend Masses

Confession every Saturday afternoon

Opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration

Faithful celebration of all the sacraments—including Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, Marriage, and Anointing of the Sick
We also walk with families preparing their children for the sacraments and accompany adults seeking to enter the Church through OCIA.
Children ages 3–18: Parish School of Religion
Our Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides dynamic catechesis for children age 3 through grade 8, with flexible options for busy families. We also offer:

Sunday School for preschool-aged children

Edge for middle school

Life Teen for high school students

Vacation Bible School, retreats, and service opportunities
Adults can grow through small faith-sharing groups, Bible studies, men’s and women’s formation, and seasonal programs rooted in Scripture and Church teaching.
Ministries & Volunteer Opportunities
The Holy Spirit is alive in our parish ministries. Whether you want to serve at the altar, pray with others, support those in need, or help behind the scenes, there are many ways to share your gifts:

Liturgy & Worship: Lectors, ushers, choir, altar servers

Social Outreach: St. Vincent de Paul, Parish Day of Service, Giving Tree, mission trips

Faith Formation: PSR teachers, small group leaders, youth ministry volunteers

Parish Life: Hospitality, event planning, fundraising events
We believe discipleship grows when we serve others. Let us help you find the right fit.
Community Events
We laugh together. We grow together. We celebrate together.
Throughout the year, our parish hosts a variety of events that bring people together and strengthen our community:

Parish festivals and fundraisers

Family and community events

Spiritual retreats and missions

Service Saturdays and charity drives

Fellowship after Mass and seasonal celebrations
You don’t have to live alone. There’s always something happening here and always someone happy to see you.
Cub Scouts
The Cub Scouts are one of the BSA’s premier programs, offering citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership for youth in grades K to 5.

Cub Scouts is a Scouting America program available to coeducational children from kindergarten through fifth grade and their families.

Its membership is the largest of the five main Scouting America divisions.
Journey Together at St. Francis Xavier Parish
We’re a community discovering authentic peace, lasting purpose, and the true presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
In our worship, in our friendships, and in our service, we strive to reflect the beauty and unity of God’s people
