This Lent, don’t journey alone

January 26, 2026

Faith-Sharing Groups will gather throughout the Lenten season for prayer and reflection. If you’re part of an existing group — or would like to join or start one — please complete this form so we can order the appropriate number of books.⁣

For three centuries the writings of Brother Lawrence have taught Christians that God is as present in the kitchen as in the cathedral and as accessible in the living room as He is around the Lord’s table. In a recent interview, Pope Leo identified “The Practice of the Presence of God” as being pivotal to his growth in spirituality.⁣

This simple, yet profound teaching will empower you to seek the joy of God’s presence in the midst of every moment and circumstance.⁣

St. Francis Xavier Parish is pleased to provide all participants in our Lenten Faith Sharing Groups with a free copy of the book, along with discussion questions for your group. Please click on the link below to let us know you’d like to participate!
