Celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday on the campus of St. Francis Xavier Parish! From the field next to our gym, you can see most of the fireworks being shot off at Medina High School.
Plus, you’ll get easy access to clean restrooms, parking and a playground for the kids. The parish will gladly provide our guests with free hot dogs, frozen ice cream and Popsicle treats, chips, water, activities and more. Open to all!
In addition, since the fireworks concide with First Friday, we will offer visitors the opportunity to stop into the church for a moment of peaceful prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Jesus will be exposed in the monstrance beginning at 7:30 p.m. and adoration will continue through the night until 7 a.m.
At 9 p.m., come to Mary’s Courtyard (between the church and school) and pray a rosary aloud in the darkness and dim light of the shrine. Bring your rosary, or some will be on hand for you. We’ll finish in plenty of time to enjoy the 10 p.m. fireworks!
