‘The Chosen’: From the Beginning
New to “The Chosen,” or simply want to watch again with friends? We will start Sept. 24 to show the entire series, week by week, and discuss each episode in a Catholic context. You are welcome to come to select episodes or every week!
“The Chosen” is a multi-season historical drama television series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. While not specifically Catholic, the Protestant writers took many Catholic principles into consideration. After each episode, we will discuss where the script might diverge from Catholic theology and historical contexts.
Join us at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Xavier Room. All are welcome, but registration will help us plan accordingly. Please use the link below to register, or contact Jennifer Webb at jwebb@sfxmedina.org.
